“Jesus said to love people regardless of who they are, where they’re from, and what their past might be. And James is saying all this to a bunch of people who had the Pharisees as role models. Think about that. The Pharisees literally walked around holier-than-thou…and James says as soon as you elevate one person over another, that’s sin.”
