For the Sake of the Kingdom

Guest Speaker: Joan Bonnett

Every one of us lives for the sake of something—but as believers, we are called to live for the sake of the Kingdom of God. In this message, Joan Bonnett reminds us that we have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of Jesus (Colossians 1:13–14). Because Christ gave His life for us, our lives now belong to Him.

With a heavenly calling, we are invited to glorify God with our bodies, our gifts, and our service. Though the things of this world are temporary, the unseen things of God are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18). True joy, peace, and purpose are found when we press on in faith, living not for ourselves but for Christ who is our life.
