Is God fair? In this insightful sermon, Pastor Josh Gerard explores Genesis 5 and the story of Cain—his crime, his punishment, and his response. After murdering his brother Abel, Cain complains about the consequences God gives him. But instead of repenting, he rebels even further, adding to his own suffering.
Through this message, we examine the dangers of a Cain-like attitude—blaming God, avoiding responsibility, and walking away from His presence. But we also see the incredible grace of God, a grace that seems radical until we realize we need it ourselves (Romans 5:8).
