Acts 13 Part One: Helper

“When the chips were down, John Mark ran, in a shameful way. The thing that gets me is he still wrote that down, because it’s what happened. Lest you think I’m shaming John Mark here, I’m not. His reaction is also our reaction to sin, every time. When we sin, our first inclination in our flesh is to run and hide. We’re ashamed and scared, and we create this distance between us and God.”
