“There are people who are going to try to come along and knock you off that rock, and pull out the roots…And Paul will say later that all scripture can be used to help correct us. I can point to scripture and go, ‘this is what the word of God says, this is the truth’, and just leave it up to them whether they believe it or not. I’m called to speak truth in love, and the truth is found in the word of God. I’m called to love murderers but to quote ‘Thou shalt not kill.’ “
